Otek to attend NUOG Annual Meeting
Otek will be attending the 2016 Annual Nuclear Utility Obsolescence Group (NUOG) Meeting, July 18-20 in Washington, DC.
NUOG was formed in February 2000 in order to share information and solutions for dealing with equipment obsolescence issues at nuclear power plants. The group has expanded to include representatives from all of the US operating plants, many Canadian plants and international operators including Argentina, Brazil and England.
Otek will be staffing a table at the Vendor Exhibition the evening of July 19. We will be there to demonstrate the ease in replacing the obsolete analog meters that are currently in widespread use in nuclear control rooms with modern, low power, highly reliable New Technology Meters (NTM’s) that require no external power supply. NTM’s can run off of the same two wires that power the old analog instrument and are 100% form, fit and function compatible with most popular analog models. We will also be providng the latest status of our 10CFR50 Appendix B Nuclear QA program which allows Otek to sell-direct to nuclear power plants for Safety-Related (Class 1E) applications.
If you plan to attend NUOG, please stop by our booth and say “hello.”
