New "Flat-Pack" Panel Meter with multiple Input OptionsOtek has released the 2nd generation of its "Flat Pack" digital panel meters. Featuring ASIC and Nano-technology, the new model FPM offers as many as 36 different signal input options and is available with either 41/2 digit LED or LCD display. The LCD versions have either green or red backlights. Power input options include 5-28VDC, 120/240VAC and "Powerless". The NEMA4X rated "Flat-Pack" does not require any panel cutout; only a 3/8" hole is needed to pass the wires through the panel, thus reducing installation time to an absolute minimum.

OTEK develops World's First Loop Powered Wireless Transmitter, Model LPTOtek Corporation announced today that it has successfully tested and is introducing a loop powered wireless transmitter and possibly the worlds first. This new wireless transmitter (Model LPT [patent pending]) is capable of transmitting over the air the loops value at a range of up to 300 ft line of sight. This process potentially yields thousands of dollars of savings to the user in terms of otherwise required for labor, wiring, etc. Model LPT is ideal for applications in petrochemical and pharmaceutical plants, on offshore rigs or areas generally considered hazardous.

New Close (and open) Loop ControllerOTEK introduces a Close (and open) Loop Controller (PID) for continuous, batch and on-off process. The CLC features 4 digits (per bargraph), Dual or Single (bargraphs), Automatic Tri-Color, and more! The unit replaces DIN 45x138mm & 1.77"x5.433" meters. The CLC is an Industrial Version to the HI-Q Series of programmable intelligent controllers, which have been used for many years by Nuclear Power Plants, Military Vessels and the Aerospace Industry.

New Triple Display Loop Powered or V/mADC Signal PoweredOTEK Corp. has unveiled its New Model TLP featuring 3 each, 3 1/2(1999) 0.8" & 0.6" high LED displays with color coded for ease of reading at 30' (10M) plus distance. The TLP consists of 3 independent and isolated Sigma-Delta A/Ds to display any 3 variables such as temperature, humidity and flow, pH, ORP & degrees C, Volts, Amps, Watts, or any 3 variables transmitted by 3 Current Loop Transmitters. The TLP can also display without external power VDC(3-50VDC) or mADC (3-200mA). Just like analog meters, externally powered versions accept signals from TC, RTD, S-G, pH, ORP, %RH and more. The TLP comes in Nuclear, Mil and Industrial Grades
and Panel Mount, Explosion Proof for Sanitary Cases.

New Presetable Batch Counter/TimerOTEK introduces a new counter (Model PBC) that can be preset to any number from 0000 to 9999, by simple menu activation keys. The counter has (2) 4-digit, 7-segment color-coded displays-red for count and green for preset. The PBC was designed to replace Durants® 5-Y electro-mechanical counter. The counter can be used as an Up or Down Counter or Timer, and being µP based, it can be configured for many models such as count or time in engineering units, the unit accepts different input types, i.e. Dry Contact, TTL/CMOS, or High Voltage.

New Miniature Loop Powered Panel MeterOTEK introduces a new miniature LCD panel meter (Model LPL) that can be loop-, signal- or externally powered. The LPL features 4 1/2 digits, backlight, and can be panel-, or P.C. mount. The unit measures only 1.7 x 0.95 x 0.5", and is a form & fit replacement for the company's GL150, GL151 as well as Brighton's Model SI55.
