The ACL Series consists of dual RMS-DC converters and a 4-20mA transmitter along with either Hz to VDC, VAC-VDC, AAC-VDC or W-VDC converters. Now OTEK brings you complete freedom and savings. The "CTT" is 100% powered by your on site 5 Amp C.T.. Just connect your C.T. output to the CTT, your current loop load and eliminate the conduit power supply & wires. The convenient plug-in screw terminal connectors (26-16 Ga), allows for quick installation. POWER: The CTT is powered by your C.T. and just like analog meters, if the C.T. is dead or has below minimum current output, the CTT won't display or transmit. For applications requiring display and transmission, even at no input, order CTT externally (24VDC) powered (Digit 3, Option 1). The optional display (Option 3) displays the loop value in bright red 4 1/2 LED digits, 0.25" high. Standard calibration is 4-20mA=0-10000 counts. The optional isolator (Option 1, 3rd digit) give you >2K V isolation between inputs and loop output and requires >7<32 VDC, plus your load burden.
The DIN Rail (Option 1) is only 1" wide x 3.1 H x 3" deep. The Nema 4X (Options 2 & 3) can be wall, panel or pipe (NPT 1/2") mounted. Standard Calibration is 0-0.4A no display, 0.5A = 5.6mA = 625 counts, 5A = 20mA = 10000 counts. Zero and Span pots are included. 4 & 20mA output adjustments are also included. You can mount the CTT next to, or remotely from your 5A C.T. Just consider the wire resistance (0.0040 Ohms/Foot x 2 for 16 Ga.) and the CTT's internal resistance (0.05 Ohm). It works best if you mount the CTT closest to your C.T.
Note: The C.T. A inputs are internally fused with a 10A fuse. You should fuse your C.T. output at 8A or less. The V, W & Hz are fused internally with a 2A fuse. Use a 1A fuse externally.
The HI-QCPM is a low cost solution to a wide range of process monitoring and control applications. It is part of Otek’s line of versatile panel instruments and features a 6-digit LED display with menu driven keypad.
This meter is a counter with a simple front panel push-button setup. One unit with a dual channel signal conditioner can be programmed to display large number of variables and scales, including watts, volts, amps, RPM, percent, or the ratio of the 2 signals or batch values. Independent span and zero for each channel allows two separate inputs to be calculated at the same time. Color options for the LED display include red or green with more available upon request. The voltage-to-frequency input signal conditioner converts the meter to an integrating totalizer or rate meter for voltage or current inputs. Outputs may be scaled to display watts and total kilowatt hours, flow and total flow. Custom curves may be programmed in the meter for accurately measuring nonlinear frequency or voltage inputs.
The HI-QCPM measures the period of the input and converts the reading to frequency or rate for fast control response, true peak reading capability and an analog output that accurately tracks the signal input. The meter has a gate time selectable from 10mS to 199.99S and an adaptive digital filter that minimizes noise yet responds rapidly to an actual change in signal level. The peak value of the input signal can be displayed by pushing a front panel button. The HI-QCPM provides an isolated 5, 10 or 24VDC output to power sensors. Transistors or dual 10 amp relays may be added to provide control outputs with the set points programmed by front panel pushbuttons. Its ability to transmit readings makes this digital panel meter ideal for integration with DCS, SCADA and other control system applications. 0 to 10V and 0-20mA analog outputs are available to drive chart recorders, remote displays or for transmission to a central control room.

The World's largest manufacturer of Loop Powered Instruments introduces its New Model LPI (Pat. Pending). Unlike other products in the market, the LPI does not use transformers that provides up to 1KV isolation and reflect "Choppers" noise on the transmitter's line. OTEK's LPI has 3KV isolation and uses optoisolators. OTEK's new LPI uses a patent pending design with ultra low quiecent current allowing the LPI to use a high efficiency High Isolation Optocoupler up to 5KVDC but down rated to 3KVDC/RMS. The rest is "cookbook" recipe. Two models are available; the "In-Line" module is for inserting it in series with existing loops and the DIN-Rail for DIN rail mount. Use the LPI as: Isolator, Repeater, Converter (4-20 to 1-5V or 0-10V to 4-20mA & 0-10V, 0-2KHz to 4-20mA, 4-20mA to 2KHz, or 0-10V to 0-2KHz), Buffer, Scaler, etc. The LPI has a Green LED at the input and a Red LED at the output so you can "see" the loop. Their intensity is directly proportional to the input-output current.
